Custom woven furniture
Trained as a cabinetmaker, I design and create furniture featuring cane weaving in limited series. Each project is fully customizable according to your desires: dimensions, choice of finishes, and materials.

Inspiration
Every project begins with a desire to express a cherished memory or emotion. This could be inspired by a landscape or a childhood moment. From this inspiration, I create a moodboard: a collection of images, words, and materials that refine and complete my idea.

Design and models
I produce several sketches to determine the overall shape, gradually refining details that make all the difference—leg shapes, curves of the top, and more. I model the piece with self-hardening clay, then create a 3D-printed prototype, and finally prepare construction plans.

Material Selection
I explore my materials library and envision the final look: rattan, cane, colored cord, light or dark wood, recycled materials… A multitude of options, sometimes chosen with you to harmonize with existing interior colors and textures.

Cabinetmaking
I begin by constructing the structure based on the plans and chosen materials. Cutting, planing, assembling, shaping, drilling, sanding…
Each step is exhilarating!

Weaving
Once the structure is complete, I weave by hand: warp, weft, bias, edging, dyeing. This almost meditative stage ensures every piece is unique and allows great creative freedom.
